Laura Fleming Doyle, CAE Principal
In 2006, after more than 20 years of serving as an association executive, Laura founded Doyle Association Consulting, LLC which specializes in association business operations and management analysis. She saw the need for a firm that focuses on association operations, working to ensure that organizations have the support systems in place to allow them to achieve their strategic objectives.
Ms. Doyle has worked closely with boards and staff to provide economical, productive and constructive growth to associations. She has been intimately involved in operational assessments, strategic planning, board development and the establishment of administrative policies and procedures. Ms. Doyle brings experience in all aspects of association management to include publications, fundraising, government relations, Political Action Committees, membership, meeting planning, continuing education, financial management, human resources as well as board and staff relations.
Prior to starting as a consultant, she served as Executive Director of the American Academy of Audiology where she was responsible for all aspects of association management. She has also served as the Executive Vice President for the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy. Prior to her work with AHP, she was the Director of Council Operations for the American College of Radiology.
A Certified Association Executive (CAE) with a Master of Health Services Administration from George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina, Ms. Doyle is a member of the American Society of Association Executives.
Kenneth A. Doyle, FASAE, CAE
Ken is Chairman of the Board and a founding member of the National Association Executive’s Forum, a national association with over 600 members formed in 2000 to provide its members with a standardized trust offering retirement and deferred compensation products. Current assets under the retirement trust exceed $100 million with over 2,000 employee participants.
Ken was Executive Vice President of the Society of Independent Gasoline Marketers of America (SIGMA) and President of The Fuel Foundation. He began his career at SIGMA in 1981 as Executive Vice President. In his almost 34 years of service to SIGMA, Ken made the association a top-notch organization by focusing on conventions, networking, and education. He’s transformed SIGMA into a professionally managed organization that gave the industry a venue where matters of concern to members can be discussed in open and sophisticated ways.
In 1984, Ken earned his Certified Association Executive designation from the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE). In 1988, ASAE honored Ken by naming him a society Fellow.
Ken received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business from the University of Arizona and worked at the National Soft Drink Association in Washington, DC and Organization Management Incorporated, a San Francisco base Association Management Company.
